Motor Circuit / Electrical Signature Analysis

MCSA helps detect and correct motor-related problems at an early stage resulting in energy saving. MCSA can be done along with a vibration data survey.

[/advtext][advtext tag=”div”]The condition of the rotor bars in an induction motor can be measured by performing a high-resolution frequency analysis on the input current to the motor.

A good way to detect motor current modulation is to perform a frequency analysis on the current, and look at the sidebands around 60 Hz spaced at twice the slip frequency. This can be done with a current clamp placed around one phase of the input line and connecting it to a spectrum analyzer.[/advtext][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][spacing desktop_height=”55″ mobile_height=”40″ smobile_height=”40″][simpleimage image=”9309″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][spacing desktop_height=”45″ mobile_height=”45″ smobile_height=”45″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row fullwidth=”yes”][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”9352″ alignment=”center” css_animation=”flipInX”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
